Hello! I’m Ms. Bunger, the 4-6 Instrumental Music Teacher at School. Together, with the rest of the department, we are excited to be able to offer Introduction to Music Literacy, an online learning course, to students who are new to the music department but wish to join an ensemble. We know that it can be intimidating to join a group whose members already have significant experience and knowledge about their subject. The School Music Department is excited to be able to offer a uniform on-ramp to 7th-12th grade students interested in learning the basics about music literacy so that new musicians can confidently join the performing ensemble of their choice and start to experience the sense of pride and community that comes with joining a group of supportive student musicians.
