Welcome to Digital Discourse: The Distance Learning Book Club! This professional development experience is designed for members of the New York State Distance Learning Committee (NYSDLC). Throughout the experience, we will explore effective strategies for virtual leadership.  This year’s book club will focus on the book, The Distance Learning Playbook for School Leaders: Leading for Engagement and Impact in Any Setting by Douglas Fisher, Nancy Frey, Dominique Smith, and John Hattie.

This collaborative learning experience will occur both asynchronously and synchronously, providing flexibility, reflection, and shared dialogue. Our asynchronous discussions will take place in Moodle, while synchronous conversations will happen during our regularly scheduled NYSDLC meetings. Together, we’ll build our collective capacity to lead with impact in all learning environments.
