Course Title: Integrating free educational platforms & tools into a 21st-century classroom
Course Description:
This course will focus on implementing educational platforms and tools in any K-12 classroom. Students will learn and engage with educational platforms (Khan Academy, etc.), content creation tools(Canva, etc.), gamified apps/websites( Blooket, Kahoot, etc.), assignment technology (Google Forms, etc.), and collaboration platforms (Padlet, etc.). This course will emphasize digital equality, iterations, and strategies that help foster students' educational experience with personalized learning and engagement. Throughout this course, you will participate in hands-on projects, discussion posts, and case studies that show your growth throughout the course. By the end of the course, future educators will be provided with the means to integrate technology into lesson plans, manage a digital classroom (Google Classroom), and even evaluate the effects of free platforms or tools inside the classroom.
